Over three quarters of businesses in Nigeria were negatively impacted by a cash shortage in the early months of 2023, following a redesign policy of the Central Bank of Nigeria. Meanwhile Australia, Sweden, and other Western countries are pushing in this direction. What does it mean for advanced economies and for personal freedoms, and what will be its impact on developing economies the world over?
