The welfare of Africans, the ones that Nelson Mandela fought for, is often too dependent on external factors that they have no say in. Such is the case with climate change – a danger that will make Africa desolate, if things go wrong – while the European powers prefer to fly on their private jets to endless meetings to discuss empty promises. Together with Ndileka Mandela, we look at the threat of climate change through the lens of the ideas of her grandfather, Nelson Mandela.
