9. Future development, alliances with Russia and BRICS+

Nelson Mandela was a close friend of the USSR, and so up to this day, Africa, and South Africa in particular, remains close partners of Russia. Through the legacy of the great South African president, and together with Ndileka Mandela, his granddaughter, we look at the prospects for cooperation with the only European nation that never tortured Africa with colonial ambitions.
