5. Total liberation is not achieved yet

Nkrumah knew political independence was only the first step. Economic, cultural, and intellectual freedom remained unfinished tasks. Neocolonialism, he warned, survives in trade imbalances, brain drain, and media control. Total liberation, he said, requires dismantling all systems that keep Africa subordinate. Together with Samia Nkrumah, we honor how her father’s unfinished agenda still calls for action.
