LA bans Monsanto’s Roundup, & Google’s drones are exempt from Freedom of Information Act (E930)

The Trump administration wants to further ease restrictions for allies abroad to purchase US weapons and defense equipment, hoping to draw them away from Russia and China. The Pentagon says that Google’s drone work is exempt from the Freedom of Information Act. Los Angeles has banned Monsanto’s ‘Roundup’ weedkiller following a judge ruling that alleges it caused a woman’s cancer diagnosis. And NASA’s all-woman spacewalk has been canceled.
